Who we are

RentScope by VPP ("RentScope", "we", "us") is a rental-market intelligence product operated by AppLabx Pte. Ltd., registered in Singapore under UEN 201603731E, business address Jurong West Street 41, Singapore 640470. VPP stands for Viet Property Partners; Invest Vietnam is the parent organisation and brand for our Vietnam-focused applications. Contact: applabx@gmail.com.

By creating an account, subscribing, or using RentScope you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your authorisation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk, or must be restricted by law.

Email verification

Access requires a verified email address. We send a verification link; the account is activated and the free trial starts when you use it. Until then the account cannot use the product.

Free trial

Each email address is eligible for one 72-hour (3-day) free trial of the full product. The trial starts when your email is verified, requires no card, and does not convert automatically into a paid subscription or charge you when it ends. When the trial ends, product access is locked unless you deliberately subscribe.

RentScope Pro and payment

RentScope Pro costs US$29 per month or US$290 per year, depending on the plan you choose; the exact price and billing interval are shown before you pay. A subscription starts only when you deliberately complete Checkout — the free trial never converts automatically. Payment is processed securely by Stripe on Stripe-hosted Checkout. RentScope does not receive or store your full card number or CVC.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the secure Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively end the current billing period. Where cancellation-at-period-end applies, you keep access through the paid-through date shown in your account, and access ends when that period ends. Deleting your RentScope account does not cancel the subscription.

Refunds

Once a paid billing period has begun, payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds merely because you cancel before the end of a billing period. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may keep your access while the already-paid period is still valid and Stripe retries the payment. If payment is not completed and no valid paid period remains, access is locked until a successful payment is confirmed through Stripe. We do not add grace periods beyond the paid period Stripe confirms.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Account pages, but not while a subscription can still generate another renewal charge. If it can, we block deletion and ask you to cancel first in the Stripe billing portal. After the subscription has ended and can no longer renew, deletion is available. Deletion anonymizes your profile, signs out your sessions and removes local entitlements; certain billing, security and audit records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel — and never silently cancels — your Stripe subscription.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass the service's security or access controls; do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; do not resell or redistribute the service or its data without permission; and do not republish data in a way that presents asking prices as signed rents or verified valuations.

Data, estimates and limitations

RentScope publishes observed asking rents from public listings — not signed-lease prices, and not valuations, investment, legal or tax advice. Fair Rent, Deal Score, confidence and other metrics are informational estimates based on limited samples and are not guarantees of value, accuracy or outcome. We do not guarantee that any listing remains available, current or accurate. We never collect or display landlord or agent contact details. Always verify information with the original source before making a decision.

Intellectual property

The RentScope service, software, design, branding and data compilations are owned by or licensed to AppLabx Pte. Ltd. and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service for your own internal or personal purposes while your access is active. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep RentScope available, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis and may change, be interrupted for maintenance, or be discontinued. We may add, change or remove features and may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentScope is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including non-waivable consumer rights. If you are a consumer, applicable law may give you rights that these Terms do not affect.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You and we submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact applabx@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter promptly.
